妹が日本の居酒屋文化に大感動!馬刺し初体験でまさかの一言

We’re going to eat raw horse.
Is it raw? Is it raw horse? Yes. Are you okay? It’s like walking in an anime.
This place is very famous. Yeah.
Like on Instagram and Tik Tok. This is how I thought all the like the whole
neighborhood would be. I thought it was just this. The food looked really good. Where were
you last night? Last night? I have no idea. I think you
went to Ginza, right? I think so. Yeah. Yeah, that was really beautiful. It was
more modern. The place which I don’t usually go to,
but my sister. So, what did you do today? I was at a festival. So, it’s a
festival in um Shibuya. Oh my god. And it was um Okinawa themed. So there was
food from Okinawa. There was music and there was all kinds of stuff you can
buy. There was traditional from Kinoa. The people were really nice. I met some
people from the islands. Oh yeah. Yeah. It was really fun dancing to the music.
I really enjoy it. I tried a special snake whiskey
and I saw this jar with a snake in it. So I I was like, “What is this?” And the
people I was with, they were like, “Oh, I I’ll get it. You can try.” I was like,
“It doesn’t necessarily look good, but I will try it for the experience.”
I still was not sure what it was. I just saw the snake in a jar and I was like,
“Let me drink it.” So, I was um I took a sip and pretty much it just tasted like
whiskey. Just whiskey that I knew. It was not very strange to me. I was like,
it just tastes like whiskey. And then it it turned out that it actually was
whiskey. Snake whiskey. It’s whiskey with fermented snake. I
would recommend to try it. I don’t think I’ve tried it.
But when I was drinking it, I was trying not to not to think about the fact that
there was snake in it because I did feel a little bit sick of the sauce. I could
feel every time afterwards that I would taste the whiskey in my mouth and I
thought the fact that there was snake in it, I got a little bit sick.
But the actual flavor was fine. Actually, when I think of a snake
whiskey, I still taste it and it still makes my stomach turn. But no, that was
really fun. And I got to hold a really cute puppy. I can show you a picture. Is that a dog? That is a dog. You have to say
very loudly. Really? I’m scared. Is it not rude? No,
it’s Do you know what this is? Um, it looks
like a salad. Is it a specific salad? It’s like an
appetizer and it’s made from moyashi. It’s like bean sprouts. Bean sprouts. Is that okay?
It has a little bit of a kimchi flavor. Oh, yeah. But it’s not really like
kimchi. It’s not sour. I like it. It tastes like there’s seaweed in there,
but I’m not sure. There is seaweed in there.
Oh, yeah. The seaweed is has a very strong flavor. Um tea,
which I have left that that is one of the most popular teas in Tokyo or maybe
even Japan. Not just in Tokyo, it’s popular in in
Japan. school. Butcha is not originally from Japan.
No, it’s from China, right? So, let’s see if the popularity is worth
it. Oh, this your first time? Yes. I have never tried it like this. Very fresh. I thought it would be
stronger. It’s a very subtle taste. Yeah.
For us, this is like water. Just like if we just want to drink.
Yeah. I don’t know why I say us. Like I’m
Japanese. Like I’m not Japanese. Japanese.
Like for Japanese this is like water. Like if we want to drink something very
light and we’re sick of drinking more alcohol, then we just order some.
So we can still drink something which is not water. Refreshing.
Kind of like water. Yeah. Yeah. It’s very very subtle. This
is actually daon daon radish. It’s grated daon radish with chicken.
You have a fork, but I have a knife. It doesn’t have a lot of flavor. Like
it’s more like a condiment, you know? Yeah.
So together with the meat, it’s good. Chicken is almost like an omelette
texture. Mint minced chicken. I thought it was a
different different texture than normal. I like it.
Maybe I should try it with bonsu. I thought it didn’t really have much
flavor to it. Uh, you have to put it like that. Uh, you have to put the radish in the
wallet. Oh, it’s way better. Okay.
You have to know how to eat it. Yeah.
Maybe as a tourist if you if you were alone.
Oh, you’d be like, “This chicken has no flavor.” Good.
We ordered a lemon sour, which is one of my favorite drinks. So,
you actually get a whole lemon, half a whole lemon, and you um press it
yourself and put the juice inside. You want to do it?
Yes. Yeah, I’ll let you do it. If I may, you just get the juice out.
I love gums. Okay.

This is lemon flour. You want to try it?
Yes. Oo, I love it. It tastes like tummy.
There’s sour to There’s probably no one who doesn’t love this, I think. No, I
can imagine. Only people with bad taste. My favorite fish. Looks like there’s garlic. I think
that’s ginger. Oh, ginger.
Yeah. I don’t know if you should put that on
the fish. I actually don’t really like a lot of
ginger with the fish. M. And you can dip it into soy sauce.
Also, okay, we have some soy sauce here. Dip it in there. You like it?
I like it, too. It is a bit more dry and salty than I
expected. It’s like vinegar.
Yeah. I think I like it raw more.
In the Netherlands, we eat it raw and and smoked.
I think I that’s my favorite version. But this is very good fish. I like
shimeyaki. And you can uh like cut it in half like
this or Yeah. Should I eat it first? Yeah, please.
You can cut like this and take some of the daon radish on top
of it. Yeah. Tasty. It’s very sweet. Um,
no. This one is not so sweet. It’s very soft, right? Mhm.
Actually, you make a very good version. I think one of my favorite ones were one
that you made. She’s a really good cook. You guys cook very well. Thank you.
We always like your dishes. Okay, so next up, squid.
Yep. I also like squid. Do you like it? Actually, I’m not a big fan of squid
like this because it uh like everything is still inside. Like the intestines are
still inside. Oh no. So when you bite it, it kind of explodes
in your mouth. Oh no. Is that what is it? Sweet like a
dessert. No, it’s not. Definitely not sweet. It’s like a honey mustard sauce.
Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. You You took the worst out of my

The taste is not bad. It’s just the texture which I’m not a fan of.
Okay. You like it?
It’s actually very small, so you cannot notice any intestines. It just It’s just
one texture. Okay. Is it raw?
Is it raw horse? Yes. We’re going to eat raw horse. Are you okay?
It looks like something that would be nice to eat. Um, excuse me. What What is
that? That is garlic. I think this is garlic
and this is ginger. Those are safe flavors. I trust garlic. Garlic is the
same everywhere around the world. I think you know ginger, garlic, green
onion. You can put a little bit on top of it and then eat it. I will first put
some garlic, little bit of ginger. Take it. Yeah. And
dip it in the soy sauce. Is it good?
Yeah. Very almost like fish texture.
Almost like salmon, very fatty, very soft. Like it melts in
your mouth a little bit, but it stays together. So you really have to chew.
It’s a very flavorful actually. I I don’t think I’ve ever eaten this. It’s
your first time as well. Yeah, I like it. Or I don’t remember
eating it. I think maybe I didn’t want to eat this before. So
yeah, let me try it as well. It’s not my favorite. The meat flavor is
too strong for me. I don’t really like the idea of eating raw meat. Maybe a
flavored meat. Maybe it’s too fatty. So, this is probably the same kind of meat,
but differently. We have this in the Netherlands, too. It’s like roast beef.
Yeah, it’s like roast beef. I did not expect the leaf to have so
much flavor. The leaf was actually spicy.
That’s shiso. Shiso. Yeah, shiso. And we don’t really have
that in the Netherlands, I think. No. Yeah, it’s very hard to get in in
advance, but I love the cheese though. I thought maybe you would like it, too.
I like it. It was just not what I expected. It was very intense. The meat
is kind of what we already had in the Netherlands. It’s called rose beef. So,
but roast beef is beef. It’s beef. It’s not beef. No, it’s beef. It’s literally
called roast beef. Yeah. But this is not beef. That’s Yeah.
Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. So it’s it’s not the same, but we have something very
similar. The first day when we ate sushi.
That was such a good drink. I still think about it.
That was actually plum. Plum wine sour. So it was big. Oh, actual plum wine. You
usually drink it in a smaller glass and it’s very sweet. Exactly. So plum wine.
Yeah. But I tried the undiluted version the next day and I also really enjoyed
that. Black wine is good in all its forms.
Yeah. Okay. What did you think of your third
day in Japan? It was very impressive. What did you
think about Shinjuko? Shinjuko. I was very overwhelmed by
everything. I wanted to stop and look at every single detail. Many lights and
colors. And I felt really inspired by all the fashion that I saw.

shops that I that looked really cool. Like there was this really big thrift
store. Really big. We should go there.
Yeah. So I I felt really inspired by that.
Yeah. It was also not as chaotic or busy as I thought. Only inside the stores.
Yeah. Also, it’s rainy today. Like in the Netherlands, when it’s rainy, it
doesn’t really matter because people will still go out.
But in Japan, people often cancel their plans when it’s raining. It’s less
crowded than normal. Ah, I see. Oh, I went to Shibuya Crossing Crossing
and I saw um Hiko. Those two things were also really nice
today. The crossing was also not very busy, but maybe because it was rainy. I
was totally prepared to be completely lost in the crowds,
but it was not overwhelming the way I expected. It was actually like Amsterdam
in the busy streets. Maybe because I’m always complaining
about Shiba, how crowded it is. I was scared by your stories.
Yeah, but sometimes it’s very very crowded. Hm. Probably you were just
there on a good timing. I think so. Yeah. And I was in a
convenience store which had a supermarket.
It had um all kinds of different departments. And there I think that was
the only time I was really overstimulated.
I can really understand why you dislike the convenience stores cuz it was
already very loud. There were many noises from different different points
of the of the store and then suddenly this disco light came out and I was
like, “Oh great, another impulse.” Like you didn’t have to do this.
It’s kind of overwhelming sometimes. But it’s like they do it on purpose cuz
it’s not marketing. It’s actual like useless light.
Yeah. It’s kind of like because people think that silence is awkward. Like if
it’s silence, they might feel awkward to say something like they don’t want to be
the one to break the silence. Yeah.
So if there are many sounds playing, then people feel more comfortable to
also make sounds themselves. Oh,
that explains it. Yeah, at least that’s my theory about
it. But yeah, I agree with you. Like Tokyo is
very very overstimulating sometimes. Yeah. But outside the store, it was
mostly just very beautiful. Yeah. Are you ready to go to bed?
